IMPORTANT MESSGAGE REGARDING CORONAVIRUS

UPDATE FOR BRETTON PATIENTS

We'd like to thank all patients for their understanding regarding the closure of the site over the past week, and confirm that the surgery is now operating with the majority of staff on-site.

Patient triage is in force and no walk-ins are being accepted at present. Any patient who requires an appointment will be asked to attend at an agreed appointment time. We have added additional telephone triage to our systems to support patient demand.

However, following completion of the required isolation periods we still have a few staff who are not well enough to return to work. Where possible we are allowing clinical staff to work from home so that the service to patients is not impacted too heavily.

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and the management team at Bretton will be completing a full review of the situation for discussion at your next Patient Participation Group meeting.
