Due to recent guidance in relation to minimising the spread of the Coronavirus we will be changing the way our appointment system operates. Patients will be receiving text messages over the next couple of days explaining these changes.

  • With immediate effect we have temporarily restricted appointments bookable via online to telephone appointments only.

  • Your appointment may be converted into a telephone consultation. The clinician will call you on or around your appointment; You will receive a text if this is the case.

  • Your appointment may be cancelled, we are trying to avoid seeing patients for routine appointments where necessary, to reduce the impact of Coronavirus. We will contact you again over the coming weeks.

  • In line with national guidance we will no be changing repeat prescription timings. You will continue to receive your medication in the usual time frames.

  • If you require a fit note we are unable to provide one for self-isolation and coronavirus related issues. You should visit the isolation note service at or via the NHS app.

  • If you are normally advised to have a rescue pack as part of an agreed personalised treatment plan, then please check you have one. For the majority of people with asthma, we do not recommend these as standard. If your asthma worsens please contact your GP or 111.
