At Octagon we have been looking at how we can improve access to Practice services; Doctorlink is our new online service where you can access advice and appointments online.
Registration is simple you simply click on your registered Octagon Practice listed below and follow the simple steps. Please do not worry about your information or your registered status with your Octagon Practice. Registering with Doctorlink DOES NOT affect your registration as an Octagon Patient. You can de-register from the Doctorlink service at any time after registration if its not for you and you will remain a Patient at your Octagon Practice at all times.
For all urgent appointments, we ask that you undertake a symptom assessment through Doctorlink.
The symptom checker will ask you a number of questions to help to identify your problem.
The outcome of your assessment will direct you to the right treatment, whether emergency care, your GP, nurse or self-care.
If your outcome indicates that an appointment is required at your Octagon Practice, you will have the option to have an appointment booked online o by contacting the Practice.
The information you provide will be shared with our clinical team (where appropriate) and will assist in providing robust information of your problem to the required clinical team member prior to your appointment.
Approved NHS Status
Doctorlink is approved by the NHS and is supported for use across Octagon Practices. Octagon values your privacy and care and we will always ensure that we monitor the value Doctorlink offers.
